You can warm the milk in either a microwave or on the stove. For the stove, pour milk into a small saucepan on medium-low heat. Be extra careful not to let it boil.
When the milk reaches the desired tempature mix milk and the mixture together.
If desired put a dollop of whipped cream on the beverage before sprinkling the last of the peppermint cane.
