Today, July 31, is National Avocado Day—and Chipotle is celebrating by giving customers free guacamole.

Because nothing in life is truly free, the offer does come with some stipulations:

  • You’ve got to purchase a regular-priced entrée to claim your guac.
  • The offer is only valid on digital orders. Download the Chipotle app here.
  • There’s a $10 minimum.
  • You only get one guacamole topping per entrée.

Free(ish) guac isn’t the only way the chain is honoring avocados today: Chipotle has partnered with TikTok and Dr. Jean to launch a digital dance-off.

Who is Dr. Jean, exactly? Well, she’s apparently that lady from Vine who sang that guacamole song. You know, this one:

The unlikely trio is encouraging fans to take to TikTok using #GuacDance to “show off moves dedicated to everyone's favorite fruit.”

We’re only going to say this once. Jk we have a whole marketing campaign about it. . . . Offer valid July 31, 2019 only. One free guacamole per entrée when ordered via Chipotle app or online. Void where prohibited. Details: chip.tl/avoday

Chipotle is also inviting iHeartRadio personalities—including Skeery Jones and Alex Gervasi—into its restaurants for a lesson on how to make fresh guacamole.

"We are excited to continue showing up in unexpected places and platforms in innovative ways," said Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer of Chipotle, in a press release. "You can't see the work that goes into our freshly made guac on the radio so we decided to get our friends from iHeartRadio behind the line to truly see and experience how we utilize real ingredients every day."

The free guacamole offer is only valid today, so take advantage of it while you can.
