Tactfully, Slidell PD acknowledged the horror of the situation while simultaneously explaining the limits of their jurisdiction as it applies to taco-related matters. “While this is truly a travesty, the police can’t do anything about this,” the post reads. “Hopefully, they are replenished in time for Taco Tuesday! It’s worth pointing out that this is hardly the first time that the authorities have been contacted in an effort to right fast food-related wrongs. One Michigan five-year-old recently dialed 911 to dispatch some McDonald’s, and a Canadian women called the cops in 2016 to complain of a lack of cheese on her pizza.

Luckily, no tacos or Slidell-area Taco Bell employees were arrested or harmed in this case, and hopefully any issues with the supply chain have been resolved.
