Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge are currently isolated in their home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk with their three young children. As the royal tots are unlikely to return to school for another few weeks, the family will be spending much more time together.

One of the many things the Cambridge family will likely do together is cooking.

Prince William and Kate maintain an active and healthy lifestyle which they likely extend to their children.

The couple is also fond of food, eating a range of meals cooked by both staff and themselves.

The Duchess of Cambridge likes to step into the kitchen and has a favourite dish to create with her children.

Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine, Matthew Kleiner-Mann said she opened up to him on her cooking habits.

He told the publication pasta is a regular cooking feature, and the children have their own jobs in the process.

Mr Kleiner-Mann said: “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her.

“They made cheesy pasta the other day.”

“One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”

While The Duchess of Cambridge has stayed at home during the coronavirus outbreak, she has not let up on supporting vital causes.

She has made several virtual appearances to NHS staff, schoolchildren and World War Two veterans via zoom during the lockdown.

Many times she has appeared alongside Prince William, and together they have thanked people working to curb COVID-19.

Fans recently spotted the Duchess has added an unspoken layer to her appearances in thanks to NHS staff.

They noted she chose her outfits in a pattern which referenced one of the most enduring symbols of the pandemic.

Each call the Duchess takes sees her in a different dress which reflects the colours of the rainbow.

One fan said: “Kate has literally worn a rainbow.”

“Our Duchess of impact has quite literally used her lockdown wardrobe to send a message, and we are here for it!”

People have used the rainbow to represent NHS workers, as they provide a glimmer of light during otherwise rainy times.

The Duchess of Cambridge is famous for her love of “literal” dressing and often dresses in clothes to reflect occasions or the country she is visiting.

She famously debuted with a selection of green outfits on her visit to Ireland with Prince William earlier this year.
