Put the plain yogurt into a serving bowl. You may add a small amount of milk or water if you want the yogurt to have a thinner consistency.
Add the honey or another sweetening agent such as maple syrup, brown sugar (packed), or perhaps a no calorie sugar such as Stevia.
Slice 1 or 2 bananas and add them to the yogurt (they should be added right before serving or they could turn brown). Instead of bananas, other fruits such as strawberries or blueberries also work well.
Next, stir in the walnuts (or other nuts). Granola is another option.
Lastly, add the cinnamon. Cardamom can be substituted for the cinnamon. Other options that can be added are vanilla extract and/or slivered mint leaves.
