“With this in mind, and as we continue to celebrate over 100 years of great value, we want to help families start the New Year – and new decade – with yet even more exciting deals and special Clubcard prices”.  

As new research conducted by Tesco reveals that a quarter (24 per cent) of Britons say they lookout for deals to save money in the New Year, the retailer announced that it will be reducing the price of hundreds of products this January.

This latest round of price cuts, which marks the supermarket’s continued celebrations of over “100 Years of Great Value”, offers everyone even more exceptional deals during a month where lots of shoppers try to curb their spending. 

As well as cutting prices in-store and online on some of the nation’s favourite brands, including Cathedral City, PG Tips, Bird’s Eye and Persil, Tesco is also bringing back Clubcard Prices with more than 100 exclusive money-saving deals.

2019 marked the 100th anniversary of Tesco and to celebrate, the retailer held money-saving deals events throughout the year, offering shoppers huge savings on some of their favourite products.
