Since it first appeared at Trader Joe’s a few years ago, Everything but the Bagel Seasoning has been a hit. Not only did it inspire everything-bagel blends at other retailers, but it also secured spots for other spice mixes, such as the Multipurpose Umami Seasoning Blend. Plus, you can’t ignore all the recipes that utilize the spice or its concept—our Everything Bagel Roasted Salmon, Everything Bagel Cheese Ball, and Everything Bagel Salad are just a few. For all we know, everything bagel spice could be one of the defining food trends of this decade, and that’s fine with us.

Trader Joe’shas gotten creative with everything bagel seasoning in the past few months (Everything but the Bagel Smoked Salmon, anyone?), and the everything bagel frenzy has, once more, inspired a new product: Everything But the Bagel Dip.

The product launched last week and is just starting to spread (get it?) nationwide. And since everyone at MyRecipes loves a good dip, we obviously had to try it.

When you think “everything bagel,” you may think “cream cheese,” but that’s not the case here. The dip’s base is actually Greek yogurt, which makes it much healthier and gives a nice tang. Can we go ahead and make breakfast dip a thing?

The dip is a good size for one or two people, but if you’re looking to feed a crowd, you’re probably better off making your own batch—the ingredients are seriously just yogurt and spice blend. Everything but the Bagel Dip runs $3.49 for an 8-ounce container, so it’s definitely more cost-effective to make your own. I am in the minority here, but I wished the dip was creamier, and using full-fat yogurt or sour cream would definitely yield my desired consistency.

Also, I have a suggestion. Trader Joe’s, why not make some bagel chips to go with this? The most neutral option you’ve got so far is pita chips, which isn’t the best match texturally. We do, however, think Everything but the Bagel Dip is great with salty potato chips, on a veggie platter, and, of course, on a bagel.
