FYI: One of the most impressive global shopping events of the year, Amazon Prime Day 2020, kicks off in mere days. And after months of COVID-related postponement, the massive sale is sure to be better than ever. From classic knife sets to state-of-the-art air fryers, we’re expecting millions (yep, millions) of deals on our kitchen favorites.

With so many offers on the table, you want to be prepared. So to help you make the most of the epic sale, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about Prime Day 2020, including early deals you can shop before it even starts!

Stay up to date on what healthy means now.

What is Amazon Prime Day and when is it?

Prime Day 2020 will begin Tuesday, October 13 at 12 a.m. PT and wrap up at 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, October 14. The exclusive sale is only available to Prime members—but anyone can cash in by signing up for a free 30-day trial (after that, it’s $119 a year).

Members get access to thousands of deals throughout the two-day event, but fortune favors the fast. Many Prime Day sales are only available for a short time, and “lightning deals” end when the item is out of stock. However, there are multiple limited-time sales throughout the day, so it’s important to keep checking the Prime Day main page to make sure you don't miss anything.

Where can I find the best Prime Day 2020 kitchen deals?

Amazon will feature its many sales across its website, smartphone app, and Alexa-enabled devices, but head to the Deals page for a collection of its most impressive discounts. If you’re looking for a specific product or brand, Amazon’s mobile app has a new feature called “watch this deal” that will send an alert when an item goes on sale.

In addition to discovering deals by departments like kitchen, electronics, and beauty, shoppers can now use filters like women-owned, Black-owned, and military family-owned to find great small businesses to support. In fact, this year, Amazon shoppers can even save $10 on Prime Day by shopping from U.S.-based small businesses on the site until October 12.

Too excited to wait? You’re in luck, because the Amazon has already dropped a number of early Prime Day deals. We went ahead and found the best kitchen discounts (plus some home deals we can’t help but snag) on the site right now. Add whatever catches your eye to your cart ASAP—because it’s sure to sell out.
