“To millions of kids, T’Challa was a legend larger than life, and there was no one more worthy to fill those shoes than Chadwick Boseman. I’m so thankful to be able to honor Chadwick’s life and purpose in this way,” he wrote.
Though Disneyland is currently still closed to park guests, Downtown Disney is open and fans can currently pay their respects to Boseman and visit the mural in person. You can also purchase a print of the work on Smith’s website and a portion of proceeds from sales will be donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and St. Jude.
