People can be very particular about their donuts AND about their beer, but I don’t think you’ll hear much complaining about this new collab between Harpoon Brewery and Dunkin’ which features real donuts brewed into the beer.
You might remember these two have teamed up to release the Dunkin’ Coffee Porter for the past few falls. Well now, not only is that brew coming back, but Harpoon is also releasing three new beers inspired by the drinks and donuts at Dunkin’.
First up, we have the Harpoon Dunkin’ Boston Kreme. Yes, this Dry Irish Stout is actually made with with real Dunkin’ donuts and cacao nibs, which add “extra dough-like and chocolatey notes” to it. It sounds like the perfect thing to sip on during brunch if you’re not too into mimosas. Next up is the Harpoon Dunkin’ Jelly Donut, also made with real Dunkin’ donuts, as well as with raspberry purée. This beer is lighter and has notes of jelly and citrus perfect for easing into late summer to early fall.
Finally, in non-donut-related flavors, you can also pick up Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin, a fall beer inspired by the pumpkin latte. It’s made with real pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, and a splash of coffee. It’s perfect for those who love a fall beer, but also always kind of wish they were actually drinking a sweet and seasonal coffee instead.
This last flavor will be available on draft and in bottled six-packs, as well as in the new Harpoon Dunkin’ Dozen mix pack shown in the photo above. The pack contains three cans of each seasonal beer flavor. They will be available everywhere Harpoon is sold beginning in September and if you’re not sure where that is, you can find locations near you here. All that’s left to do is figure out how many batches of fall baking you can do while sipping on one of these fine brews.
