Panera is combining two of its signature menu items–Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Classic Mac & Cheese–to bring us…Broccoli Cheddar Mac & Cheese. The brilliant mashup is exclusively available in grocery stores, so add it to your shopping list.
The new item is the first-ever fusion of two best-selling menu items for Panera at Home–the chain’s consumer packaged goods line. It combines “two distinct cheddar cheese sauces into a singular velvety blend” with tender pasta shells, broccoli florets, and shredded carrots, according to a press release. Better yet, the dish has no artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors, or colors.
Starting this month, you can find the veggie-filled mac & cheese on shelves in supermarket chains including Food Lion, Giant, Martin’s, Jewel, and more with a wider range of availability nationwide this fall. The product comes in 16-ounce tubs for a suggested retail price of $6.99.
If you can’t get enough of the Broccoli Cheddar Mac & Cheese but are having a hard time justifying eating a bowl of it for lunch and dinner every day (although that’s great, no judgement here!), Panera offers a couple of other recipes you can whip up with the stuff.
