I don’t watch Game of Thrones, but I’m told dragons are a pretty big part of the show. There’s even a lady who hoards them and calls herself the “Mother of Dragons.” Sure, when she does it it’s cool—but when I do the same thing with cats it’s weird? I see how it is.
Anyway, look at this giant chocolate dragon egg that Deliveroo made to celebrate GoT’s final season:
That baby is hand-painted, made of fair trade white chocolate, and weighs two whole pounds. Sadly, it’s only available to residents of the United Kingdom—Deliveroo is basically GrubHub to our friends across the pond.
The egg is available for the absurdly low price of 80p, about $1.05 USD. That makes absolutely no sense, but OK.
“Easter is coming and so is the final series of our favourite blood-soaked romp,” Joe Groves at Deliveroo said in a statement to Metro UK. “We see huge spikes of orders around season premieres and finales and we thought what better way to celebrate hardcore fans than with these amazing scaley creations.”
If you happen to live in the UK, you can order your very own egg by heading to Deliveroo’s temporary “Hatchery” section between April 14 (the day the final season begins) and April 21 (Easter).
Fans who are stuck stateside will just have to settle for GoT-themed Oreos and beer. Life’s tough, ain’t it?
