Rebel Wilson has made headlines in recent months, not only for her brilliant acting skills, but also for her impressive weight loss transformation. The Pitch Perfect star has shed almost six stone in just 18 months.

Rebel Wilson wowed fans yesterday as she stepped out with fellow celebrities to the Superbowl in California.

The Australian actress was a vision in pale blue skinny jeans and a blue and yellow Los Angeles Rams American football shirt.

She finished the look with white ballet flats and a pair of huge sunglasses.

Her blonde locks fell to her shoulders and she wore minimal make up.

Her dark eyebrows were coloured in and a slick of nude lipstick covered her lips.

Rebel sat at the Los Angeles stadium’s VIP section with her Pitch Perfect co-star Adam DeVine, who also wore a Rams jersey and a blue baseball cap.

The 41-year-old actress reminded fans of her recent weight loss transformation.

She has lost a huge five and a half stone, or 35kg, in just 18 months.

But how did she do it?

In recent interviews, Rebel has described 2020 as her “year of health” as she decided to kick start her weight loss journey.

Rebel made easy changes to her lifestyle as she began to eat more healthily and increase the amount of exercise she did.

In an interview with Apple Fitness+ in January, she said that walking hugely contributed to her weight loss transformation.

The actress explained: “The doctor said to me, ‘Rebel, the best way for you to lose unwanted body fat is just simply walking’.”

“Doesn’t have to be high-intensity, doesn’t have to be uphill, just moderate walking an hour a day.

“And if you can do that, for you, for your body type, it’s, like, the best way to lose unwanted body fat.”

As for her diet, Rebel reportedly followed the Mayr method.

This diet involves eating three meals a day, while sitting a table with no distractions.

Slimmers are advised not to snack, and to finish eating by 7pm.

The diet consists of eating fresh fruits, vegetables, proteins, nuts, and seeds – foods that are similar to those in the Mediterranean diet.

In an interview with People, Rebel explained that her lifestyle changes were more about becoming and feeling healthier, rather than weight loss.

She said: “You never want it to be about the number, because it really isn’t about that.

“It’s about: I was doing some unhealthy things to my body and just wanted to change it and become a healthier person.”

After sharing a picture of herself at the SoFi stadium on Instagram, as well as a boomerang video, Rebel’s fans were quick to comment on her posts.

Heather Woods wrote: “You’re so stunning.”

Jayne Fitzpatrick said: “You look great.”

Linda added: “Omg look at your arm muscle.”
