Preheat oven to 400.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.(I skipped this step and just used my butter wrapper to grease the baking sheet).
Place the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt in a food processor.Pulse until well combined.Add the butter and pulse until the mixture looks like coarse sand.
Transfer to a large mixing bowl.Add the cheese and the parsley and toss to coat in the dry ingredients.Pour in the kefir and mix briefly to form a shaggy dough.
Transfer the dough to a parchment lined work surface (I just put a little flour on my cutting board)Knead the dough gently a few times to evenly moisten the dough.Pat out to a 7×8 inch rectangle.Slice the dough into 16 biscuits.
Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes (checking at the 20 minute mark) until the biscuits are golden and done all the way through. You can check to see if a biscuit is done by slicing one in half.
Transfer to a cooling rack to cool until warm (or just until they don’t burn your mouth).Serve immediately.
