Ingredients
- 2 pie crust
- 8 apples, cut into slices
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbs butter, melted
- 6 tbs maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Steps
Cook apples with water and sugar for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. In a small mixing bowl, mix brown sugar, butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour into prepared pie crust, using one pie crust for top. After putting top on Pie, make Criss-Cross cut about 1 inch apart across the top. Cover with aluminum foil to prevent excessive Browning. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake until Brown. Remove from oven and let cool for about 2 hours.
