Delicious and easy vegan fried side dish!
- 500 g button mushrooms
- 1 cup flour
- 1-1 1/2 cup water
- 3 tbsp chickpea flour
- 1 tsp salt
- (to taste) black pepper, cayenne pepper, Italian herbs, paprika
- (to taste) garlic powder, onion powder, cumin
Chop mushrooms in thick slices
In a bowl, combine flour, chickpea flour, salt, herbs and spices. Whisk in the water.
Gently stir in mushrooms until completely covered.
Fry until golden brown (flipping halfway through) in a wide pan. You can either laddle 1 mushroom at a time or more. Serve warm. Enjoy 🙂
