A delicious alternative to classic beanie weenies!
Ingredients
- Part one
- 1 pound hotdogs
- 1 large onion diced
- 1 large green bell pepper diced
- 29 ounce can of black beans separate 1 cup
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- To taste salt
- 1/2 cup water
- Part 2 for the one cup of separation
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- To taste salt
- To taste ground black pepper
- Green bean and potato fried rice
- 1-1/2 cup cold cooked rice
- 15 ounce can green beans and potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- To taste salt if needed
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Steps
Separate 1 cup of black beans, and set aside. Heat two tablespoons oil in a deep pot, add the diced onion and peppers. Add the spices. Sauté till onions are translucent. Slice the hotdogs into bite sized pieces.
Add the one cup of black beans. Add the oregano. Fry the beans and smash them. Add to the onions and peppers and sauté for 15 minutes.
Add the hotdogs.
Heat two tablespoons of olive oil. Drain the green beans liquids and save the liquids. Add green beans and potatoes to the hot oil.
Fry till lightly browned. Now add the rice and spices. Stir in well. Add half the green bean liquid. Cook till liquids are absorbed and brown the rice and potatoes slightly.
Add all the beanie weenie ingredients together and incorporate well. Simmer for 30 minutes stirring often.
Add fried rice to a plate.
