Carne Asada ready to go from the market is pretty good stuff but it’s got that red dye thing going on!Hanging out at the meat counter at Cardenas I’ve discovered this recipe!
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 cups Orange juice
- 1 bunch cut up cilantro
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked garlic powder, okay if regular garlic powder
- 1 tbsp smoked sea salt, okay if regular salt
- 2 heaping tbsp Achiote Rojo
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
If marinating ribs don’t forget to peel the membrane off the back.
I put in the fridge on Sunday and flip daily for two days before cooking.
