Better with fresh green beans and beef broth..

Ingredients

  1. 2 cans Green Beans
  2. 2 tablespoons Butter
  3. 1 small Onion
  4. 1 tablespoon Garlic
  5. 2 slices Bacon
  6. 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  7. 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Steps

  1. Melt butter in 3-quart sauce pan and mince onions.

  2. Add onions and garlic to sauce pan, cook on medium high heat until translucent, around 5 minutes. Add bacon to saute pan.

  3. Cook bacon until slightly crispy, around 3 minutes. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

  4. Add salt, black pepper, and green bean, cover and simmer for additional 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve.
