Better with fresh green beans and beef broth..
Ingredients
- 2 cans Green Beans
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 small Onion
- 1 tablespoon Garlic
- 2 slices Bacon
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
Steps
Melt butter in 3-quart sauce pan and mince onions.
Add onions and garlic to sauce pan, cook on medium high heat until translucent, around 5 minutes. Add bacon to saute pan.
Cook bacon until slightly crispy, around 3 minutes. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Add salt, black pepper, and green bean, cover and simmer for additional 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes and serve.
