1. 2 lb tofu
  2. 5 stalks green onion
  3. 3 tbsp sugar
  4. 3 tbsp fish sauce
  5. 1/2 cup water


  1. Cut tofu into pieces of 1x1x2 inches. Cut the green onion into pieces half inch long.

  2. Deep fry the tofu to a crispy golden brown. (Alternatively, you can use an air fryer on high (400F) for 3 sets of 7 minutes, turning the tofu between sets.)

  3. Set tofu on drainer or paper towel to drain the oil.

  4. Mix the water, sugar, fish sauce in a pot. Heat until boiling. Add green onion and simmer for 3 minutes.

  5. Dip the tofu into the pot of green onion sauce and move them to a plate to serve.
