Gulab jamun is my all time favorite eid desert #EidKiMeethas
- For gulab jamun dough:
- 1/2 kg Khoya
- 1/3 cup maida
- 2 tbsp desi ghee
- 3 tbsp beaten egg
- 1 tbsp suji
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder
- For sugar syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 2/3 Green cardamoms
Add beaten egg in khoya
Then add maida, suji, green cardamom powder and baking powder in khoya and egg.
Mix all the ingredients and then add desi ghee.
Make smooth dough and rest the dough for at least 5 minutes.After that make small and equal balls of gulab jamun dough.
Add sugar, water and cardamoms in a pan and cook it until sugar is desolved.Don’t switch off the flame.Instead switch the flame to low.. until gulab jamun is fry.
Sugar syrup exact flame after desolved sugar..
Deep fry the gulab jamun until golden brown.
After frying, fastly add the hot gulab jamun in hot sugar syrup.then switched off the flame of sugar syrup and leave for 25 to 30 minutes at least.
