Ingredients

  1. 180 g (1 1/3 cup) Mashed potato mix
  2. 120 g (3/4 cup)Rice flour
  3. 60 g (1/3 cup) Potato starch
  4. 1 tsp Fine salt
  5. 560 ml (2 1/3 cup) Hot milk
  6. to taste Tomato cheese sauce
  7. to taste Basil leaves

Steps

  1. Make mashed potatoes with milk. Add rice flour.

  2. Add potato starch, fine salt and knead well.

  3. Divide into 8 portions and make a round smashed shape just like a small pancake.

  4. Melt the butter in a pan and bake both sides until the surface becomes toasted.

  5. Put the cake on a plate, pour some sauce on it and place some basil leaves on top for a nice & vivid presentation!

  7. You also can make gnocchi with this. In that case, make a small oval shape and stir-fry with butter. (Boiling is not suitable, the rice flour is going to melt in hot water.)
