I was in a diet and in the rush in the morning so making these mouth watering treats was a life saver.
They are school friendly and actually taste amazing without the sugar in traditional cookies.
They are super quick and easy if you like banana bread and oatmeal cookies this is the recipe for you.

Ingredients

  1. 1 ripe mashed banana
  2. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  3. Pinch nutmeg
  4. 1/4 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)
  5. Approximately 1 1/2 cups rolled oats

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350 f. Mash bananas in a small bowl until baby food like texture. (The softer and riper the banana the better)

  2. Add in oats in little by little until a loose dough forms. Add spices in and mix. If you wish fold in the raisins or chocolate chips.

  3. Put on a tray in tablespoon portions, bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes or until solid. Pro tip is to flatten the cookie because it doesn’t spread. They should be slightly more golden and have a slightly soft texture.
