Ingredients

  1. White Cake
  2. 1 cup white sugar
  3. 1/3 cup softened butter
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  6. 2 teaspoons baking powder
  7. 1 pinch salt
  8. 1 cup milk
  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  10. Blue Cake
  11. 1 cup white sugar
  12. 1/3 cup softened butter
  13. 2 eggs
  14. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  15. 2 teaspoons baking powder
  16. 1 pinch salt
  17. 1 cup milk
  18. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  19. 1 tablespoon Blue Food Coloring (add more if needed)
  20. Red velvet cake
  21. 1 cup butter
  22. 1/2 cup shortening
  23. 3 cups Sugar
  24. 5 eggs
  25. 3 cups all-purpose flour
  26. 1/2 unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  27. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  28. 1 cup milk
  29. 2 ouches red food coloring
  30. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  31. Icing
  32. 1 cup butter
  33. 4 cups confectionary sugary
  34. 3 tablespoon milk
  35. 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  36. Small Star candy will need just the white stars

Steps

  1. For the White Cake Preheat the oven to 350° then spray and flour 13×9 pan. In a large bowl mix together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each are added. Combine the flour, baking power and salt, mix into the batter alternately with the milk. Mix in vanilla. When batter is smooth pour into 13×9 pan and cook for 25 to 30 mins. When done take out of over let cool.

  2. For Blue Cake Preheat the oven to 350° then spray and flour 13×9 pan. In a large bowl mix together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each are added. Combine the flour, baking power and salt, mix into the batter alternately with the milk. Mix in vanilla then add in Blue Food Coloring. Add as you mix so you get the right blue coloring that you want. When batter is smooth pour into 13×9 pan and cook for 25 to 30mins. Let cool when done.

  3. Preheat the oven to 350° then spray and flour 13×9 pan. In a large bowl mix together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each are added. Add flour, Cocoa, milk, mix well then add in vanilla and red food coloring. Pour into 13×9 pan and cook for 60 mins. When done let cool for 30mins.

  4. Beat Sugar and butter until smooth add cream and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy about 2 mins if it’s to stiff add a few drops more of milk until done how you want.

  5. Make 4 bowls of icing 2 white, 1 red 1 blue.

  6. Put the blue cake at the bottom cover the top with blue icing. Just the top not the sides (try and save a little for the top left corner of the Flag). Then add the white cake on top of the blue cake cover the white cake with white white icing just the top not the sides. Then add the red on top then cover the entire cake, top and sides expect the top left corner. Top left corner put blue icing.

  7. Then put other white icing in a cake bag with Wilton 1m Icing Tip make line across the cake outline the sides and place your white star candy in the top lift corner.

  8. Enjoy when done.
