The hotdogs curled up and some I added grated Parmesan cheese and I won’t use Parmesan cheese again.

Ingredients

  1. 8.5 ounce box jiffy mix corn muffin mix
  2. 1 pound hotdogs 8
  3. 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  4. 1-1/2 teaspoon granulated onion powder
  5. 2 tablespoons honey
  6. 1 medium egg
  7. As needed water
  8. As needed oil to medium fry in

Steps

  1. Mix the egg and a little water, onion powder, garlic, and honey. Heat the oil. The water usage should be minimal. You really want this batter tight.

  2. Split the hotdogs lengthwise but not all the way through. Dip into the batter. Make sure the batter is tight. Then fry turning as needed.

  3. Serve I hope you enjoy!!

  4. The darker ones I used grated Parmesan cheese I didn’t really like it.
