1. 1 cup Moong dal aata(wheat)
  2. 2 tbsp rava
  3. 1/2 cup Dahi/ curd
  4. 1/2 cup water
  5. 2-3 tbsp grated carrots
  6. 2 tbsp capsicum Chopped
  7. 1 onion chopped
  8. 1-2 tbsp beetroot
  9. to taste Salt
  10. to taste Black pepper powder
  11. 1 tsp eno powder


  1. Take Moong daal flour and rava in a bowl
    Add Dahi and mix well
    Add water gradually to make a lump free batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes

  2. Add all the vegetables and mix gently.
    Now add salt and black pepper and give a mix.

  3. Now heat up an appe pan and grease the indents

  4. Add eno and mix gently
    Pour one sooon each batter in the indents and cover it to let cook.

  5. When one side is done turn appe with a skewer and let it cook on the other side too

  6. Take out when done overall and serve it with any chutney

  7. See the inside texture of fluffy appe
