A quick and easy meal that can be eaten on its own or with a protein of your choice.


  1. 1/2 cup couscous
  2. 250 g Brown mushrooms (sliced)
  3. 2-3 cloves garlic (chopped)
  4. 1 spoon soy sauce
  5. 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  6. 1 dash salt and pepper
  7. Olive oil for frying


  1. Cook couscous as per packet instructions. Set aside.

  2. Heat about a spoon of Olive Oil in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Add mushroom, garlic and thyme; stir until the mushroom is tender. Add soy sauce and stir.

  4. Add the couscous, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve immediately.
