Nana khatai is my brother’s all time favourite sweet snack…#EidKiMeethas

Ingredients

  1. 2-1/2 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup sugar(grind it) or you can use caster sugar
  3. 1 cup almonds(roasted & chopped)
  4. 1 cup desi ghee
  5. 1 egg yolk
  6. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  7. 1 tsp cardamom powder

Steps

  1. First of all take a pan/patila,place a stand or tin and place it aside.Use a baking tray and lay butter or parchment paper on it.(Don’t preheat the pan)

  2. In a bowl,add all dry ingredients flour, sugar, almonds, baking soda and cardamom powder & mix it well

  3. Then add ghee in dry mixture and make a soft smooth dough.

  4. Using a biscuit cutter, fill the cutter with dough and make a biscuit shape

  5. Place it on the baking tray, and brush it with egg yolk

  6. Preheat the pan for 5 minutes and bake naan khatai for 20-22 minutes.if you bake in the oven bake it at 160 C to 320 F for 15-17 minutes.

  7. After baking place naan khatai on a air tight container, you can use it until they are finish and enjoy it with tea?
