Ain’t it purtty???


  1. 5 Bananas cut into slices
  2. Half a lemon (for the juice)
  3. 1 box Nilla Wafers
  4. 1 bag Pepperidge Farm Chessman cookies
  5. 8 egg yolks
  6. 4 cups milk
  7. 1/3 cup flour
  8. 1 cup sugar
  9. Pinch kosher salt
  10. 1 tsp french vanilla pudding
  11. 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese softened
  12. 2 tsp vanilla extract
  13. You will need a whisk


  1. Cut up bananas and squeeze lemon juice on it, give them a toss and cover

  2. Separate egg yolks and place in a bowl also soften the cream cheese in the microwave

  3. Pour the milk into a pan on the stove at medium heat

  4. Add the yolks and WHISK into the milk

  5. Add the flour, sugar and salt, put through a sifter then add to milk mixture and WHISK constantly

  6. Keep whisking until starting to get thick and add one tsp instant french vanilla pudding this is better than adding more flour

  7. Thickening might take 10-15 minutes but go ahead and add the block of cream cheese while the custard is hot and keep whisking until it is all dissolved and your sauce is thick

  8. Take off the heat and add the vanilla extract whisking it in then let cool for about 10 minutes

  9. Start your layers !! Add a little custard to the bottom of the pan then add a layer of Nilla wafers

  10. Then add your sliced bananas on top of the wafers then do another layer the same way

  11. Top off the 2 layers with the Chessman Don’t forget to chill and ENJOY ???????
