An old family recipe granny used to make for Sunday brunch. I used extra colored sugar sparkles after baking for the little ones.
Ingredients
- 1 C Flour
- 1 1/2 C Quick Oats
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 C Milk
- 1/4 C Veg Oil
- 1 Egg
- 2 LG Tbsp Sour Cream
- 2 C Frozen Berries (of your choice) I like to used mixed
- 2 tbsp Raw Sugar (or 1 tbsp of regular sugar will work)
Steps
Mix all dry ingredients together
Wisk the wet ingredients well
Add dry ingredients 1/3 at a time mixing well each time until all is combined.
Add berries and fold gently.
Pour into 9″ pan or the closest you’ve got sprinkle with raw sugar and bake at 375 for 20 to 40 mins or until golden brown.
