(You can use any mushroom you like such as baby bellas, etc.)
- 2 pounds fresh green beans
- 1 pound button mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (if You don’t like a touch of heat then don’t add in red pepper flakes)
- to taste Salt and pepper
Cut tips off both ends of your fresh green beans and wash. Blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes and then into a bowl of ice and water to stop the cooking process.
Preheat oven 400 degrees F.
Toss all ingredients in a bowl with the exception of salt and pepper. Then transfer ingredients to a parchment paper lined baking sheet (for easy cleanup).
Place in oven at 400 degrees F. Until green beans are tender and crispy.
Transfer to serving bowl add salt and pepper to taste.
