Ingredients

  1. 1 cup samai
  2. 4 cups water
  3. 1 tbsp oil
  4. Curd as required
  5. 1/2 onion chopped
  6. 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
  7. 2 garlic pods finely chopped
  8. 3 green chillies slitted
  9. Salt as required
  10. To Temper
  11. 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  12. 1 tsp Urad dal
  13. 1 tsp Channa dal

Steps

  1. Wash samai and mix it with water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles

  2. While it’s getting cooked, heat a pan with oil and temper with mustard seeds, Urad dal and channa dal.

  3. Add onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies together and sauté for few mins until onion becomes glassy. No need to be soft. Add salt.

  4. Mix it with samai along with curd.

  5. Enjoy
