An appetizer to go with any italian dish.
- 1 (8 oz) pkg refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 cheese sticks, halved
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350°.
Take each triangle of rescent roll dough and place half a cheese stick on top and roll it up.
Place rolls seam-side down on a cookie sheet and bake 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
While rolls are baking, combine the melted butter, italian seasonings, garlic powder and parmesan cheese in small bowl.
When rolls are done, remove from the oven and brush with garlic butter glaze. Serve with marinara.
If you want, you could add a couple slices of pepperoni before cooking. Just put them on the roll dough before you put on the string cheese.
