Beancurd or White Tofu can be cut in a fancy way to decorate any dish.You can use this idea to impress your guest!
- 1 1/2 box beancurd
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- Oyster sauce
Cut beancurd in the middle to divide 2 parts. Then, cut from the side ways to divide the beancurd into 8 rectangular parts.
Each part, cut smaller strips. Carefully transfer to plate. Use your finger to gently press the tofu to form a shape like a layered fan. Continue the process till cover the plate in a circle form.
Steam the bewncurd for 2 minutes. Pour sauce from the side. Add in more oyster sauce on the side if you want the sauce look thicker.
In the middle, you can cook anyrhing and place on it. For this case, I have cooked some brocolli and cauliflower.
