This is a simple tofu dish which has its origins back to ancient China at that time was a vege dish,called Shaolin Tofu,the only seasoning add to the tofu is soy sau ce,but it taste super delicious!

Ingredients

  1. Hard pressed tofu or Japanese tofu
  2. Few stalks of spring onion
  3. 2 pcs shallots diced
  4. 3 cloves garlic diced
  5. 2 slice ginger minced
  6. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  7. 1 tsp Shaoxing wine (optional)

Steps

  1. Cut pressed tofu into preffered rectangle pcs or Japanese tofu into 2 cm thick each. Fry tofu in medium heat until golden brown and set aside.

  2. Stir fry the spring onions, ginger, garlic and shallots until aroma and pour in Shaoxing wine. Caution, flame may surface on the wok!

  3. Add in the fried tofu and add in soy sauce and let the tofu absorb the soy sauce both sides for about 2 mins and serve.
