Over the winter we killed 1 doe. We’ve been eating the meat little bits at a time. Today I decided to make a venison meal! This includes venison, rice, and pear strawberry walnut salad!

Ingredients

  1. For the venison burrito:
  2. 1 venison steak
  3. Salt pepper
  4. 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  5. 12 tortillas
  6. Salsa (optional)
  7. For the rice:
  8. 1 1/2 cup water
  9. 1 cup white jasmine rice
  10. For the salad:
  11. 1 pear
  12. 12 walnuts (chopped)
  13. 3 (large) strawberries

Steps

  1. Cut the venison into strips and grill it

  2. Mix together pepper, salt, and balsamic vinegar

  3. Rub balsamic mixture onto strips

  4. Grill tortillas until light brown

  5. Crest your burrito by adding I (on the tortilla) 1 later of meat, 1 later of salsa, and whatever other toppings you want!

  6. Boil water

  7. When water is boiling, add rice

  8. Stir the rice once and let sit until the rice soaks up all the water

  9. Chop the pear

  10. Chop the strawberries

  11. Mix together the fruit and nuts

  12. Enjoy!!
