Aaron exclusively shared with Express.co.uk the moment he realised he needed a change: “I was the best man at my best friend’s wedding.

“The first alarm bells rang when we went suit shopping and all the shops we went to didn’t do suits big enough for me. After browsing the internet we managed to find a site called Jacamo that specialises in plus size clothing.”

Aaron got his plus-size suit but when he saw the wedding photos, “that’s when the second alarm bell went off”.

He explained: “I could see how big I had become and that I could no longer stand the sight of myself. Something had to change.”

You don’t realise how much the excess weight holds you back in life. Whether that’s buying plus-size clothing or needing a metal bed to sleep in (as previously I would break wooden beds’ slats).
