There are few things more delicious than a proper chocolatey brownie, and while these are available in supermarkets and bakeries everywhere, it\u2019s so much more fun to make this tasty treat at home.<\/p>\n
Baking can be an arduous process but it doesn\u2019t have to be. In fact, BBC Good Food\u2019s microwave brownies take a grand total of 15 minutes to make – and you won\u2019t even have to turn on your oven.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the perfect recipe to try this weekend if you\u2019re hosting guests, as it serves six hungry chocoholics.<\/p>\n
Containing just seven ingredients, this BBC favourite is not one to have budding bakers traipsing around the supermarket for hours looking for ingredients, and it certainly won\u2019t break the bank.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n 75g butter, plus a little extra for greasing<\/p>\n 50g peanut butter<\/p>\n One egg<\/p>\n 25g cocoa powder<\/p>\n 50g plain flour<\/p>\n 100g sugar<\/p>\n A few tsp jam<\/p>\n Method<\/strong><\/p>\n Add the butter and peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl and cook on High for 30 seconds to melt. Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir the mixture thoroughly. Allow it to cool slightly before adding the egg and stir to combine. Grab a second microwave-safe round dish (about 15cm wide). grease with butter and line with cling film. Tip the peanut butter mix into the lined dish, sieve in the cocoa powder and flour and tip in the sugar. Gently mix everything together to form a thick, sticky paste. Use the back of a large spoon to smooth the top of the mixture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Use a teaspoon to make crater-holes in the top of the brownie mixture and fill each one with plenty of the jam. This will melt and bubble down when cooked. Put the brownies in the microwave for between three to four minutes on High. Take them out to cool for 15 mins – they will carry on cooking during this time.
